My Approach & Values
I believe therapy is most effective when it feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in genuine human connection. My approach is integrative and person-centred, meaning I draw on different therapeutic models while tailoring the work to your individual needs, rather than expecting you to fit a fixed framework.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental, neurodivergent-affirming, and gender-affirming space where you can slow down, explore your internal experience, and make sense of what may feel overwhelming, confusing, or exhausting to hold alone. This includes working with experiences such as anxiety, self-doubt, burnout, perfectionism, people-pleasing, and the impact of masking.
A key part of my practice is meeting each person with respect, curiosity, and openness, including those navigating identity-related experiences, life transitions, and the intersection of mental health with gender, sexuality, neurodiversity, and workplace pressures. I am particularly mindful of the importance of affirming and validating lived experience, especially for trans and gender diverse clients, as well as LGBTQ+ communities more broadly.
Alongside my integrative foundation, I have specialist training in CBT and ERP for OCD, and I support clients experiencing intrusive thoughts, compulsions, and anxiety-related difficulties.
My work is guided by authenticity, collaboration, and a belief in each person’s capacity for insight, resilience, and meaningful change. I also place importance on ongoing professional development, including training in neurodiversity-affirming practice and suicide prevention, to ensure my work remains informed, ethical, and responsive to the needs of the people I support.
